    Our store

Selected products are now online at The Shop for Change.

Every purchase of a scarf, shawl, bag or doll creates income for refugee and displaced women and their families.

Weftshop’s full collection ranges from reversible girls’ dresses (pictured) and beautiful woven scarves to colourful bags and dolls. At the heart of the collection are natural dyeing, backstrap looming, appliqué and culturally unique embroidery. Every Weftshop purchase creates income for refugee women and their families on the Thai- Burma border.

      Our producers

Weftshop works with individual women and women’s groups on the Thai-Burma border to develop marketable textile and handmade products. We run product development and marketing workshops with the support of women’s groups such as WEAVE on the Thai-Burma border. The workshops help refugee and displaced women artisans develop the skills and knowledge needed to create products suitable for western tastes.
